Prior to joining KAL, Kim had accumulated almost two decades of expertise working as a biologist for an aquatic consulting firm in Winnipeg.
Kim joined Kilgour & Associates Ltd. in 2025. Her experience in aquatic consulting includes conducting inventories of fauna (fish, amphibians, reptiles, benthic invertebrates), pre- and post-construction water quality monitoring, and fish salvage operations. Her experience includes collecting data on fish spawning, using larval drift traps and egg mats. Since joining KAL, Kim has worked on a variety of projects for land development clients, where she has helped to conduct species at risk, vegetation, and bird surveys. She has also supported our mining clients in Sudbury, Ontario, and in Northern Saskatchewan.
