senior Terrestrial Ecologist
Ms. Miyashita is a senior terrestrial ecologist with experience supporting environmental assessments and infrastructure planning projects across Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia. Her expertise includes vegetation community surveys, wetland and woodland assessments, rare plant and invasive species surveys, and revegetation planning for disturbed and reclaimed sites. She has worked extensively in both natural and developed landscapes, providing ecological inventories and impact assessments to support regulatory approvals. She has contributed to federal policy and guidance related to the Species at Risk Act and Impact Assessment Act. Ms. Miyashita is a Professional Biologist and a Qualified Wetland Science Practitioner in Alberta and provides senior botanical and wetland expertise for land development and infrastructure projects.
