Nicholas Schulz, B.Sc.

Biologist

 
 

Nicholas completed his B.Sc. from Carleton University in Environmental Science and is currently working to complete his M.Sc. His research examines the ecological success of urban wetlands using algae as a bioindicator and compares them to agriculture, natural, and Ducks Unlimited owned ponds. During this project he has gained experience conducting large scale studies and producing reports for a variety of stakeholders including Ducks Unlimited and the Canadian Museum of Nature.

Previously a student with us in 2019 he has since gained work experience from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), Canada Building Materials (CBM), and Blazing Star. Through his work and school experience Nicholas has obtained a variety of field and laboratory experience to analyze and document the natural environment.

Since joining Kilgour & Associates Ltd. In April 2023, Nicholas has worked on various projects for land development clients, including Ecological Land Classifications, Headwater Drainage Feature Assessments, Environmental Impact Studies, and Tree Conservation Reports.
