If you’ve been out on a walk in the woods or along a wetland in the past week, you may have heard the mating calls of early-breeding frog species. This week we’ve heard Spring Peepers, Wood Frogs, Northern Leopard Frogs, and Chorus Frogs. We’ve also encountered frog egg masses, some of which were being consumed by leeches!
